Colorado Springs sits at over 6000 feet above sea level, and the elevation and dry climate can affect visitors in subtle but important ways. You may feel tired more quickly, dehydrate faster, and experience stronger effects from alcohol.

To stay comfortable and avoid altitude-related symptoms:

  • Stay hydrated—drink water often
  • Limit alcohol, especially at the start of your trip
  • Wear sunscreen and sunglasses—UV rays are stronger at high elevations

A little preparation goes a long way in helping you adjust and enjoy your time at NEI Fall Congress.
