Supporting Better PTSD Care Through Clinical Education

PTSD Awareness Month

June is PTSD Awareness Month. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. While PTSD is often associated with military service, it also impacts survivors of accidents, violence, natural disasters, serious illness, and other life-changing experiences. Increasing awareness is an important step toward reducing stigma, improving understanding, and expanding access to effective care.

Throughout PTSD Awareness Month, we remain committed to supporting healthcare professionals with evidence-based education, clinical resources, and practical tools that help improve the recognition, assessment, and treatment of trauma-related conditions.

This month, we recognize the strength of those living with PTSD, help reduce stigma, and encourage understanding, support, and access to care.
