Dr. Jade Wu

On Faculty Friday, we spotlight NEI Faculty to learn a little more about them and showcase their contributions to NEI's psychopharmacology education.

Meet Dr. Jade Wu!

Dr. Jade Wu, PhD, DBSM is a Board-certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist and sleep health researcher at Duke University School of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Cornell University, completed her PhD at Boston University, and finished her medical psychology residency and clinical fellowship at Duke. Her current research focuses on treating sleep disorders in those with chronic illness and health risk factors such as hypertension.

First appearing as a guest on the NEI Podcast in 2020, NEI welcomed Dr. Wu to our NEI Congress faculty line-up in 2021. She will be joining us again in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2022 NEI Congress, where she will be presenting a session on the etiology of insomnia, as well as the best nonpharmacological and pharmacological strategies for treating insomnia.
