Dr. Thomas L. Schwartz is a professor in and chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Alan and Marlene Norton College of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Schwartz is active on many teaching, administrative and curriculum committees at SUNY, he also provides direct resident supervision, and lectures in several courses, and directs and organizes continuing medical education events for the psychiatry department.
As a long-time NEI Faculty member, Dr. Schwartz has presented at the NEI Congress, NEI Synapse, and is a frequent guest on the NEI Podcast. He will be joining us again this November in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2022 NEI Congress, where he will be presenting a lecture on utilizing adjunctive medications in the treatment of major depressive disorder and a lecture on screening, diagnosis, and management of narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
